• Incredible Portability: Standing at just 125mm tall (approximately the size of a milk jug or tamper) and weighing only 290g, the Minipresso GR2 is one of the smallest and lightest portable espresso makers on the market. • Fully Manual Operation: This device requires no batteries or electricity for operation. The pressure of up to 8 bar (116 PSI), necessary for extraction, is generated by a semi-automatic piston. The pumping process is light and requires little effort – it’s easier than inflating a bicycle tyre with a hand pump.
• High-Quality Espresso: The Minipresso GR2 produces surprisingly high-quality espresso with a decent crema, especially when using darker roasts, and offers a rich, concentrated flavour. • Flexibility in Coffee Choice: Designed for use with freshly ground coffee, it gives you complete control over your choice of blend and grind. It’s recommended to use a grind slightly coarser than typical espresso grind, about the consistency of fine salt, to facilitate the pumping process and ensure good extraction.
• Adjustable Filter Basket Capacity: The standard filter basket holds 8g of coffee, but you can increase its capacity to 12g by removing an internal gasket, allowing for a stronger shot of espresso.
• Simple to Use and Clean: The device is easy to assemble and disassemble. After use, the coffee puck is easily ejected by pushing the filter from below, and all components can be quickly rinsed with water. Even without water, coffee residues can be wiped away with a paper towel. It is not recommended to wash the Minipresso in a dishwasher.
• Comprehensive Accessory Kit: The package includes everything you need to get started: the main brewing chamber, a lid, a small drip tray, a dosing funnel (for clean transfer of ground coffee), a scoop that doubles as a tamper, a brush, a water tank (50ml), a built-in espresso cup, and a carrying pouch to keep everything protected whilst on the go.
